Dean Riddle: Creating Gardens That Reflect Place and Personality, with Lee Buttala.  Having been interested in plants since his childhood in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Catskills-based landscape designer and garden writer Dean Riddle finds inspiration in our region’s rocky terrain and topography. It is his goal to create gardens that connect to both personality and place – from the narratives and history of its inhabitants to the sylvan settings, architecture, and materials that the site offers. His work combines his education as a horticulturist in North Carolina and his love of woody plants that he curated while working at Hillier Gardens in the UK with his experience gardening in the Northeast and the inspiration of the surrounding environment.  Your $25 suggested donation does more than get you a seat. It helps plant a new Arts-and-Crafts garden behind Dewey Hall, with a stone terrace and an accessible entrance so everyone can enjoy the Hall for the next 140 years.  Seating is limited, so reserve your place today.  https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/dean-riddle-creating-gardens-that-reflect-place-and-personality-with-lee-buttala
